Expert trailer servicing, repairs and PANTRAK body systems

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I service my trailer?

We recommend annual servicing as a minimum to maintain safety and compliance. High-mileage commercial trailers may benefit from more frequent inspections. We can advise on an appropriate service schedule based on your usage patterns.

Do you offer mobile repair services?

For certain types of work, we can arrange on-site service. Contact us to discuss your specific situation and we’ll let you know if mobile service is practical for your needs.

Can you work on all trailer makes and models?

Yes. Our technicians have experience with virtually all commercial trailer manufacturers and types. Whether it’s a flatbed, curtain-sider, refrigerated unit, or specialized trailer, we have the expertise to service and repair it.

What's included in a standard service?

A comprehensive service includes inspection of brakes, suspension, lights and electrical systems, tyres, coupling mechanisms, bodywork, and chassis. We’ll identify any wear items needing attention and provide a detailed report of work completed.

How long does a typical service take?

Most routine services are completed within a working day. More extensive repairs may require additional time. We’ll give you an accurate timeframe when you book and keep you informed if anything changes.

Do you supply parts or do I need to source them?

We supply all necessary parts and materials. For specialized or unusual components, we’ll source them on your behalf, ensuring you receive quality parts at competitive prices.

Can you retrofit PANTRAK bodies to existing trailers?

In many cases, yes. We’ll assess your existing trailer to ensure it’s suitable for retrofitting, then provide a detailed quotation for the conversion. It’s often a cost-effective way to upgrade your fleet.

What makes PANTRAK different from other curtain-sided systems?

The bolt-on, rubber-mounted design makes PANTRAK bodies easier to maintain and repair compared to many alternatives. The modular construction means components can be replaced without specialized tools, and the rubber mounting reduces stress on both body and chassis.

What are your payment terms?

We accept various payment methods including BACS, cheque, and major credit/debit cards. For regular customers, we can arrange account facilities with agreed payment terms. Discuss options when you contact us.

Do you provide estimates before starting work?

Absolutely. We’ll assess the work required and provide a clear quotation before proceeding. If additional issues are discovered during the work, we’ll contact you before carrying out any extra work.

Is there a warranty on your work?

Yes, we stand behind our workmanship. Warranty terms vary depending on the type of work completed—we’ll explain what’s covered when we quote for your job.

Can you help with MOT failures?

Definitely. Bring us your failure notice and we’ll carry out the necessary work to get your trailer through. Even better, bring it to us before the MOT and we’ll ensure it’s test-ready.

What areas do you cover?

We’re based in Snetterton and serve customers throughout East Anglia. For trailer hire and PANTRAK installations, we can often accommodate customers from further afield. Contact us to discuss your location.

Are you taking on new customers?

Yes, always. Whether you’re a small operator with one trailer or managing a large fleet, we’d welcome the opportunity to earn your business.
